This weekend I took receipt of a domestic sewing machine. This is for doing cloth bag linings; it isn't designed to handle leather. I managed to sew the lining of a women's shoulder bag which should be finished later today.
The brand of this machine is 'Janome' which means 'eye of the snake' in Japanese.
